chinna - Yes it does stop at the Windmills (10.20am and 2.20pm) and just down the road at the beach where the Anastasia is - www.redbuscyprus.com/TheTours/TimesandPickups/tabid/489/Default.aspx

The cost in August this year (2009) was €20 per person.

Re: Famagusta Day Trip

went on the red bus to famagusta last week while we enjoyed the tour and the two daves were very informative. we were disappointed with having to make the journey inside the bus. when we spoke to the owner we were told it was only transport to famagusta/varosha and it would take 40m mins to get there. we were picked up at 10am and dropped off at 4pm. we spent an hour and half in famagusta and 45mins on beach at varosha, so rest of time we were travelling on the bus. we were told on booking we would be inside the bus but i have stated we were told only transport, at the end of the day we payed same price as those upstairs who we felt had more opportunity to see more of the tour. think that maybe a fairer way would to discount inside seats or swap over on return journey so all customers would benefit from a bit of sightseeing.
